Welcome to the Presbytery of Abernethy
The Presbytery of Abernethy is a small Presbytery of 5 charges in the Central Highlands of Scotland. Much of its economy is tourism based but also with extensive farming and forestry interests. It is centred around Badenoch, Strathspey and Speyside but includes Tomintoul – one of Britain’s highest villages. The majority of its congregations fall within Britain’s largest National Park – the Cairngorms National Park surrounded by the majestic Cairngorm Mountains.
