The Presbytery of Abernethy is responsible for 5 so-called Charges. Each Charge whose head would be a Minister of Word and Sacrament comprises a number of congregations. Individual church congregations (13 in all) can either be linked or united with each other for administrative purposes and therefore worship may take place in more than one church, for example, where a congregation is united. Kingussie & Insh Village Church. This charge is linked with Newtonmore & Laggan. The Minister for the charge resides in Newtonmore.
